Default 1641 Fuel System Diagram...Need Help Troubleshooting


Can someone signal me to a diagram or manual for the fuel organization on a 1641?
I take a new to me 1641 and trying to remove carb, solenoid and other fuel components to make clean....thanks

Thanks Steve, Cadets are new to me and I didn't know that site existed, even after numerous searches on the google auto.......I appreciate the resource. Are there whatever how-to guides that will guide me through removal/install of the various components similar the solenoid, etc...
I am simply trying to pull the various fuel related components, make clean and reinstall before cranking this machine up.

removing the carb,requires removal of the engine from the tractor.
You can get at all the parts yous need to clean by removing the air cleaner base of operations,then remove the four screws on top of the carb.

No reason to remove the carb. It is serviceable from the elevation.

Default Solenoid


Ok thank you...how virtually the fuel shutoff solenoid....can I merely unscrew the housing and remove/inspect without removing the carb or the housing that's covering it? I only tin can't see the electrical connections and want to brand sure I am not creating an issue in the wiring past unscrewing.

I have removed the solenoid successfully without removing the blower housing. I have also dropped a solenoid down inside the housing and had to pull the engine to fish it out of the blower housing.

My stance, if the solenoid clicks when you utilize power, it's probably good. You tin leave the solenoid installed, turn the central on to retract the pintle, remove the high speed jet and accident compressed air in the summit of the bladder bowl to blow out trash that likes to accrue effectually the pintle of that solenoid. No guarantees on that but information technology works for me and it's a lot easier than pulling the solenoid.

This is a film with the summit removed. The solenoid is circled in ruddy, the plunger is circled in green. Likewise you can run across the needle for the float sitting in the bottom. The owner of this one couldn't sympathise why it was flooding out. LMAO.

With the acme off if you turn the cardinal on yous should exist able to see the plunger retract.

Thanks over again....I constitute some good info from prior posts on the 1641.
I cleaned the carb, solenoid, jet and she is running. I disconnected the fuel line from the tank and have it running using my gas can.

I programme on pulling the fender pan and fuel tank to give information technology a good cleaning.

Can someone directly me every bit to how to remove the seat to become to the pan bolts that volition give me admission to the gas tank?
I take removed the iv bolts in each corner pictured but no go. Cheers
