Baking supplies are tricky to store. Maybe you have a couple dozen types of sprinkles and you're not sure where to keep them? Or a few cookie cutters that don't seem to have a home? Or just one whisk that always jams up the drawer? Whether you're an avid baker or just starting to dabble, we found all sorts of brilliant ideas to help you organize your treat-making supplies.

1. Try a tackle box.

Heather of Kitchen Concoctions found that a fishing tackle box, with lots of shallow divided layers, is perfect for storing all those little jars of sprinkles and food coloring.

2. File your cookie sheets.

This Apartment Therapy post has tons of great ideas. We especially love the one to add custom slats to a cabinet to help hold your cookie sheets vertically.

3. Fill a drawer with containers.

Have you ever seen a more organized drawer than this one from A Bowl Full of Lemons? Pull-out cabinet drawers hold rectangular containers filled with sugar, flour chocolate chips, and more.

4. Use a spice rack.

Angie of Bakearella decants her sprinkles into spice shakers, then displays them on a spice rack on a wall. It's a smart way to keep them up and out of the way.

5. Stash your cookie cutters in a cookie jar.

That cookie jar works just as well before you've even made the cookies! Use a big glass one to contain all your cookie cutters, like Haeley of Design Improvised.

6. Use a pegboard.

We turned a pegboard into a baker's paradise. We used longer hooks to organize rows of cookie cutters, a vase to hold parchment paper, and lots of individual hooks for other odds and ends.

7. Load up a kitchen cart.

Gather everything up on a rolling cart to pull out come baking day! This one happens to come from our most-pinned pantry of all time, but you could also tuck a cart under a counter or in a corner somewhere if you don't have the space to wheel a cart in and out of a pantry.

8. Put cupcake liners in Mason jars.

Those little stacks of extra cupcake liners can get wobbly, but Julie of Table for Two discovered that Mason jars are just the right size to keep them neat.

9. Display what you can.

Blogger Torie Jayne's whole home is a collection of pastels, but her color-coordinated baking corner takes the … er … cake. Follow her lead and use your most attractive bakeware and color-coordinated sprinkles as show-stopping display pieces. Just hang up your favorite pieces!

10. Hang your measuring cups and spoons.

Even if you don't need to measure when you cook, it's super crucial during a baking session. Use this tip from Remodelando la Casa and use an old ruler to help hang your measuring cups and spoons on the inside of a cabinet door.
