Seagate launches new external FireCuda and BarraCuda gaming SSDs
Seagate announced at CES 2022 a new family of FireCuda and BarraCuda external SSDs for gamers and creators on the go. Designed with the company's own FireCuda Gaming Dock in mind, these new external storage solutions are speedy, reliable and look outer worldy.
Inside the FireCuda external SSD, you'll discover Seagate'southward premium FireCuda NVMe 510 SSD and a lightning-fast 20Gb/southward USB interface, offering data transfer speeds of up to 2000MB/s. While not quite as speedy as internal NVMe drives, these portable SSDs are ideal for gamers on the go with capacities of 500GB, 1TB, and 2TB all wrapped inside a chisel metal enclosure with RGB lighting.
